Recently, two international standards“Steel cord conveyor belts - methods for the determination of total thickness and cover thickness” and “Conveyor belts - drum friction testing”, which were mainly prepared and revised by Double Arrow were officially released and implemented. This is the first time that a company in Tongxiang city led in preparation and revision on international standards.

Reporter from Tongxiang News took a field interview to Double Arrow. At the Double Arrow Institute, technician was doing test in accordance with the released standard of “Steel cord conveyor belts - methods for the determination of total thickness and cover thickness”.

“As the bellwether in the market segmentation of rubber conveyor belting industry, more than half export products are involved in the international standard of ‘Steel cord conveyor belts - methods for the determination of total thickness and cover thickness ’. Previously, in entering into the markets in Europe, United States and other area, due to different test methods between national and foreign standards, led great deviation in test results and products return happen from time to time. So, two years ago, Double Arrow started the preparation and revision of this international standard as the first drafter. Through test data collection, new standard discussion and other measures, Double Arrow passed the vote of ISO TC41 committee.” The general manager of Double Arrow Mr. Shen Huiming said in the interview.
